That’s why the DS9900 Series for Labs is purpose built for medical labs and pharmacies, offering unparalleled productivity and ease of use. A one-of-a-kind hybrid design offers both handheld and hands-free scanning. Switching between hands-free and handheld modes is seamless with an exclusive capacitive touch sensor for hand detection and accelerometer technology for motion detection — simply pick up or put down the scanner. The DS9900 Series automatically adjusts the scan range to meet the application; the scan range is limited in presentation mode to prevent unintentional scanning of nearby items, and is extended in handheld mode to easily reach items on a table or cart.
The DS9900 Series’ high density focus easily reads smaller barcodes on microscope slides as well as curved barcodes on medicine bottles and blood vials. White illumination LEDs make it easy to scan barcodes on color-coded specimen trays and biopsy cassettes. And the DS9900 Series combines an 800 MHz microprocessor, high-resolution megapixel sensor and Zebra’s exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology for unparalleled performance on poorly printed, damaged, faded and other challenging barcodes. The DS9900 Series has the widest field of view in its class, requiring less precision when positioning items to make hands-free scanning easier than ever. And you can boost productivity with rapid-fire first-pass read rates up to 240 in./610 cm per second.
The DS9900 Series comes with a wide range of Zebra-only innovations to boost productivity. With Zebra’s Intelligent Document Capture, it doubles as a document scanner to capture patient forms and prescriptions. You can scan multiple barcodes with a single trigger pull with Multi-Code Data Formatting (MDF). Automatically single out and scan one barcode on a field of many with Preferred Symbol — no need to spend time covering up unwanted barcodes. And with Zebra’s ScanSpeed Analytics, you get detailed performance metrics on each barcode captured — enabling you to identify and eliminate poor performing barcodes that can negatively impact your workflow.
An RFID model combines barcode scanning and UHF RFID reading/writing in a single platform — providing an ideal solution for tracking serial numbers, expiration dates and other critical data in blood processing. Workers can read multiple RFID-tagged samples in one pass without line of sight. And with our complimentary built-in RFID data conversion software, you can read RFID tags without modifying your existing application.

Q. Where are you located and where all the products get shipped from? 
A. We are a retail store located in New Zealand and all the products are available in New Zealand warehouse. We dispatch the orders same day if we receive it before 2PM. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
Q. How long will it take to get my order? 
A. All the orders received by 2pm will be processed and dispatched same day with overnight courier. Rural and heavy items deliveries may take 1-2 days extra. To find out the delivery time frame for bulky items you can contact us.
Q. What shipping carriers do you use? 
A. We use Courier Post, New Zealand Courier, Post Haste for small items and for large and bulky items we use Fliway and Mainfreight.
