The LKV329 transmits and receives HDMI signal over any simple 2x conductor cables such as network cables, power lines, coaxial cables, telephone wires etc. The extender includes a transmitter unit and a receiver unit with a transmission distance up to 300m. It supports multicast that one transmitter unit is capable of driving up to 4x receiver units using, either 4x individual wire pairs over 300m each, or daisy chaining the receivers. In addition, the RS232 serial port supports bi-directional RS232 pass back. The LKV329 is primarily used in home theatre systems, media projects, entertainment and exhibition centres.
