Connection Technology Systems (CTS) PLR-2012 PoE long reach extender is the best solution that could extend your PoE up to 1km and allows you to deploy surveillance IP cam or WiFi AP to the location where power cannot be easily accessed.
CTS PLR-2012 is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3af and 802.3at standards. It also allows you to retrieve power from either a PoE switch or a DC power supply, depending on the deployment environment, providing maximum flexibility.
The operation status can be monitored through a set of diagnostic LED indicators on the front panel. In addition, a 7-segment digital LED display will demonstrate the current output wattage and also codes for any abnormality that is taking place, making on-site technical support so much easier. Both the modules can be installed on a DIN-rail or onto a wall.
